Who Handles Your Genetic Data?
- While MILESTONE® facilitates the Test for Your Genes™ service, all DNA sample processing and interpretation are conducted by certified third-party partners (e.g., DNA Life and registered dietitians).
- These partners operate under GDPR (in Europe) and HIPAA (in the U.S.) to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI).
- MILESTONE® does not access, store or process your genetic reports or raw DNA data.
Your Consent Matters
- When you purchase a DNA test through our website, you will be asked to provide explicit consent for the secure sharing of your health and genetic data with our partners.
- Your data will only be used to provide personalized genomic insights and will never be shared or sold without your explicit approval, except where legally required.
Your Rights & Security
- You have the right to access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for your data at any time.
- All electronic communications and reports are encrypted and stored using secure, compliant systems.
- Our partners are trained in data privacy and operate under confidentiality agreements.
Withdrawing Consent or Requesting Deletion
- You may withdraw your consent for DNA data processing or request full deletion of your personal data at any time.
- To do so, please email us at info@ofdreamsandknowledge.com with the subject line: Consent Withdrawal or Data Deletion Request.
- We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request, and—where applicable—will notify our certified partners to carry out the deletion or restriction of your data as required.
- Please note that we may be legally required to retain certain information (e.g., invoices) for regulatory or tax compliance purposes.
