Our Inspirations
The Olive Tree
The olive tree, a symbol intertwined with the rise of Mediterranean civilizations, has been revered since ancient times, notably by Hippocrates as ‘the great healer,’ and Dioscorides who identified the healthiest oils came from unripe olives, a fact now supported by modern science. Today, the olive tree and its oil, rich in bioactive compounds, are subjects of extensive research by leading institutions, aiming to uncover the full extent of their medicinal benefits, continuing its legacy as a cornerstone of health and wellness in Western culture.
Pomegranate Tree
The pomegranate, an ancient fruit revered throughout history, likely originated in Persia before its cultivation spread across the Mediterranean to as far as China, known there as the “Chinese apple.” Its name, derived from medieval Latin “pomum granatum,” reflects its seeded nature. In ancient Greece, it symbolized rejuvenation and eternal life, a belief echoed by modern research that highlights pomegranate’s preventive potential against heart disease and cancer, two major chronic ailments associated with aging.
Greek Nature
Greece’s rich biodiversity boasts over 6,800 plant species, with 1,400 endemics, making it a treasure trove of natural resources. The native flora, adapted to thrive in the challenging southern climate, produces bioactive molecules for enhanced resistance and regeneration, yielding a wealth of valuable active ingredients. Additionally, this pristine ecosystem provides an ideal sanctuary for native bees, facilitating the creation of their vital active substances.
Our logo was inspired by the paleolithic age (50.000 B.C.), and depicts a couple crushing plant seeds in a traditional large mortar. This showcases a symbol of effort, persistence, harmony and strength.

It was a milestone year for us that led to the introduction and build up of a new base right in the heart of the Asian market. Our new Singaporean base was designed in order to address the increasing Asian demand for plant-based functional foods.

Receving our first official citations in peer reviewed journal publications. It coincides with the recent discovery of elenolide, a new anti-hypertensive substance found in medical-grade olive oil. We are proud to be participating in 2 more clinical trials in U.S. and Greece since then.
